Closure of Kebon Singkong Railway Crossing is In Trial

The closure of railway crossing in Kebon Singkong area, west side of Klender Station, East Jakarta, is in trial, Sunday (7/9).

We will evaluate it next week

This trial has been informed for a month before. 

Tomorrow, Kebon Singkong Klender Railway Crossing Closed

This railway which connects between Jl. I Gusti Ngurah Rai and Jl.Raya Bekasi is closed using railroad concrete slab. Closure information banner has been installed above it.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept.'s Traffic Section Head, Andreas Eman said, since it is a double railway crossing, it is closed for road user's safety and convenience.

"This closure is in trial. We will evaluate it next week," he said, Sunday (7/9).

He added that through meeting with Ministry of Transportation last week, decision to close this railway crossing i s final.

By this closure, vehicles from Jl. I Gusti Ngurah Rai must pass through Klender flyover in order to reach Jl. Raya Bekasi. While, vehicles from Jl. Raya Bekasi must turn around at Cipinang Lontar railway crossing to reach Jl. I Gusti Ngurah Rai.
